We went to watch the Rock-n-Roll Marathon in San Diego. What a contrast it was to the haphazard event 100 miles to the north 6 days earlier. The finish line was filled with people cheering runners in. The finish line had bleachers. They actually had many sets of bleachers. It was good to see.
So we were in two locations on the course. Just before mile 26 on the base, and just before the finish line. We also had to cut out early.. about 5:15 on the race clock.
