Super excited that we were able to snap some pix at the Escape from Alcatraz race.
Saturday was a rough day. Would like to thank 'loose gravel' and his friend 'hidden potholes' for showing us how to lay down a bike while going down a hill in Marin. I was pretty sore, and tried to go with a different approach ..rather than holding the camera up for 3 hours straight. I set the camera on a monopod and tried to hold it in place. I think for the most part it worked out well... Though a few came out crooked. It can be corrected very easily with Picasa (very awesome, very free software from the nice people at Google). There is a button called "straighten" in the basic fixes.
I shot all of these photos in RAW(..NEF) so if you want to play around send me "please and thank you note" with the photo name(s) (marathonpix@gmail.com or tweet me @marathonpix)
