Escape From Alcatraz 2009

Super excited that we were able to snap some pix at the Escape from Alcatraz race.

Saturday was a rough day. Would like to thank 'loose gravel' and his friend 'hidden potholes' for showing us how to lay down a bike while going down a hill in Marin. I was pretty sore, and tried to go with a different approach ..rather than holding the camera up for 3 hours straight. I set the camera on a monopod and tried to hold it in place. I think for the most part it worked out well... Though a few came out crooked. It can be corrected very easily with Picasa (very awesome, very free software from the nice people at Google). There is a button called "straighten" in the basic fixes.

Iron Man Arizona November 2008

12:51 am 12/02/2008 : Ok we still have bike photo's to post, and I hope to have them up tomorrow. Today was a hectic day(unrelated to the site), we did add another group to the finishers... THE FAST KIDS

12:26 am 12/03/2008 : Added the bike photos, and realized there is still another large batch to upload... the bikes returning to transition.

The ALMOST DONE!
We were able to capture the majority of the people that finished. The 5:00 hour was by far the most challenging. That is when the sun disappeared.

WATER EXIT
These pictures were taken using a camera with a fisheye lens, cool stuff, because you can see 180degrees. There are programs that will straighten out the corners. We are currently deciding which one we like best.
